Dawn of the Dead: Chapter 2-2

Once Will had finished training with Anne, they caught up with the other four. Once Genie introduced them to Jill, they made their way into Rustboro City, not at all surprised by the massive horde of zombies around the area. What did surprise them was that Genie saw someone she’d met before.

“Alicia?” she said, walking up to the Deathcaller. “What’re you doing here?”

“Huh, so you’re still alive,” Alicia scoffed. “I guess that Legless Demon couldn’t dispose of you correctly.”

“How did you know about that?”

“Really?” Alicia asked as if she was disappointed by Genie’s question. “My trainer tag should’ve given it away. I’m a Deathcaller. I work with the demons.” She shrugged. “No matter. I guess I should finish the job.” She sent out her Sneasel. “Don’t send a legless demon to do the job of a Deathcaller.”

Genie blinked as her bag began to buzz, as if a Beedrill was within it. She reached in and pulled out Jill. “You want to fight?” The egg squeaked softly.

“You’re gonna fight me with an egg?” Alicia laughed. “You must be more foolish than I thought.”

Genie blinked, glaring at the woman in front of her. “Jill. Do your thing.”



Alicia glared at Genie, holding her injured Sneasel. “You will regret this! My boss shall hear of this!”

Genie watched as the Deathcaller ran off and sighed. “Good job, Jill. You did good.” She looked at her other Pokemon. “Perhaps we should get going?”

“Where to, Genie?” Nicolas asked, landing on her head.

“Well… Only place to go now is after Alicia.”

Lizzie smiled sweetly. “We’ll follow you anywhere, Genie.”

Will nodded. “Y-Yeah… W-We’re in this together. Until the e-end.”

Genie smiled and walked off, her team riding her, too lazy to walk or fly on their own.
